Evaluation of Job Applicants Using Neuroscience
Bank, Tomáš ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibility to evaluate cognitive and emotional traits and their relations to job positions and functions. The basis is to create a set of tests which could be used during a hiring procedure while deciding among candidates. It also suggests how to classify users based on a set of tests and thereby provide support in choosing the right job. The thesis gives a brief outlook of individually tested traits, describes a proposal of a web application and its implementation, describes implementation of neural network classifier and presents obtained results.
Detection of changes in digital images
Dorazil, Jan ; Kříž, Petr (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis concerns with change detection problematics in digital images captured under indoor conditions with an ordinary integrated camera in two consecutive moments. All challenges that accompany this problem will be discussed, starting with preprocessing and arriving to evaluation of the results. Currently used methods from this field are described and compared with each other such as differencing and LCP (Local Correlation Peak). A novel method, based on LTP descriptors, effectively solving this problem is proposed in this work. The proposed method is then tested on real data. The results of this tests are discussed subsequently. Besides the change detection method a method for parallax error minimization is proposed here.
Automatic Tagging of Presentations
Huška, Michal ; Sumec, Stanislav (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with a development of application running on mobile devices with Windows Mobile operating system. The main task of this application is observing canvas with running presentation and saving time marks, that inform about slide change or animation. Description of system requirements, system analysis using UML language, solutions on image processing level, decription of implementation in C++ language and application tests results are described in the text. Problems of mobile device software development are also outlined in the document. A great part is dedicated to work with multimedia on Windows Mobile 5.0 system, especially to problems linked with DirectShow technology.
Detection of changes in the image
Čech, Jan ; Zemčík, Tomáš (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is finding changes in two similar pictures made in different periods of time. This task belongs to the field of computer vision. To solve this problem different methods of computer vision are used. First the angle of scanning has to be found. Then pictures go through the proces of preprocessing, afterwards the segmentation and the determination of descriptors are carried out. Finally, the pictures are compared and the differences are pointed out.
Monitoring and Analysis of Web Page Changes
Blaheta, David ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The content of this thesis is the issue of monitoring and analysis of web page changes. Work offers an overview of tools and applications that are used today to monitoring and deals with their functionality and implementation. The most important part is devoted to creating an information system for detecting and monitoring changes. Provides a theoretical introduction, design and implementation of an application, that aims to detect changes based on user defined filters. So application gives users only the information, which really interested him. Results are presented in the form of RSS channels. The paper describes a complete design and implementation, including possible future expansion.

Čech, Jan ; Zemčík, Tomáš (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is finding changes in two similar pictures made in different periods. This task belongs to the field of computer vision. To solve this problem different methods of computer visions are used in several solution versions. Program is working with two scenes. In final version are objects from both scenes compared. The result is written into logging file.

Land cover change detection on the agriculture land
Klouček, Tomáš ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Brodský, Lukáš (referee)
The main purpose of thesis is creation and evaluation of models for change detection of arable land to grassland by Hybrid-based Change Detection method, which combined approaches based on the Vegetation Indices, Image Differencing and Principal Component Analysis. Six locations with different seasonal configuration of images with high resolution and one locality covered by image with very high resolution were used. The areas were spread across the foothill areas of the Czech Republic. The selection of predictors and the most suitable model was supported by statistical calculation. Application selected models were carried out using a multi-temporal object classification and their accuracy were verified using reference data. The benefit of this thesis is finding generally applicable model useful to investigate the land cover change and evaluation of the potentially most appropriate seasonal configuration of images. Valuable is also methodology in this thesis which focus on selection of predictors and calculation the order of the most appropriate models, which is unique in the available literature. The thesis provides useful findings fitting to insufficiently explored issue of Change Detection arable land to grassland. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Change detection in RCA models
Biolek, Jiří ; Prášková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Hudecová, Šárka (referee)
The thesis describes Random Coefficient Autoregressive time series mo- dels (RCA models). In first chapter we introduce different types of estimati- ons for coefficients of RCA model. Main part is in second chapter, where we describe detection changes procedures for all methods mentioned in chapter one, here the thesis expands the current theory about change detection of wei- ghted least square method and functional estimation. In last chapter we sum- marize results of simulation study. 1
